Error in executing DML & DDL

Hi,
I've installed Toad for MySQL 4.6.0.531 and attempted to connect to two MySQL database that is used for the same purpose (same structure) in two different servers.
Basically I encountered the following message when attempting to run insert statements as well as creating new columns. Both actions gave me the same error but only on the second MySQL DB (the first one no error message):
Binary logging not possible. Message: Transaction level 'READ-COMMITTED' in InnoDB is not safe for binlog mode 'STATEMENT'
What does this mean?

I am having the same problem. We initially didn't have a master slave setup and I could do everything through Toad. Now we implemented the slave which uses the binlogs, and now I can't change tables or anything without this error. If I run the same commands through the mysql command line, they work.
