Beta problems still present after multiple versions

Is there any point in posting problems with this Beta when none of them are ever fixed?
There is a serious problem with version 5 betas and MySQL user (@) variables which means that I simply can't use this version at all. This problem has been present since the first 5 beta and I posted about it on 10 March. The problem is still there and I now concerned that Quest will go GA with a new version at some point which is significantly less functional than it's predecessor.
Is anyone alive at Quest? Could you post the changes made when you release a beta? At least it would save some of us a download/install/test cycle for something that hasn't even been looked at!

Linda,
Sorry about that. We have had a change of ownership withing Quest of this forum and that bug report must have fallen through the cracks. I am taking a look at it now and see if we can get a fix for this release.

David,
Thanks for the reply. It would be nice to see a little forward motion on this problem.
Any chance of a change log when the next beta is released?

Linda,
The problem with variables in procedures has been fixed. Please download beta 5.0.0.280 and give it a try. I'll see what I can do about posting a change log.

David,
I have done a quick test and the variable problem has definitely been resolved in the latest beta.
I will continue testing with other code in the coming days.
Thanks for the response and looking forward to the change log.
