NEW CONNECTION FAILURE WHEN I CHOOSE CONNECT TYPE IS TCP!

HI THERE.
I'M USING TOAD FOR MYSQL NEWEST VERSION.
BUT, I CAN'T CONNECT TO TARGET SERVER.
HERE IS,
CONNECTION MANAGER INFORMATION.
- CONECTION TYPE : TCP
- HOST:XXX.XX.XXX.5 <-- TARGET SERVER.
- USER:XXX
- PASSWORD:XXX
- DATABASE:XXX
- PORT:3306
- COMPRESS:NO CHECK
I WAS INPUT ABOVE SERVER VALUES. THEN, I CLICKED CONNECT.
AND BRING UP TO ME. HERE IS ERROR MESSAGE.
Access denied for user 'XXX'@'XXX.XX.XXX.156' (using password: YES)
IT IS TOO CRITICAL ERROR. RIGHT?
I'D INPUT IP ADDRESS XXX.XX.XXX.5 LAST PREFIX! BUT, THIS MESSAGE ARE XXX.XX.XXX.156
SOMETHING WRONG?
AND, THIS ERROR IS OCCURED BETA VERSION. ALSO.

This is very strange.
Does the computer with the XXX.XX.XXX.5 IP also have another interface on XXX.XX.XXX.156?
Can you connect to your server using any other tool except for Toad (For instance the mysql command line)?

--> no, there is only have xxx.xxx.xxx.5
I'm using mysql workbench, and Tera-term(command line).
but, I was OK.
It' error was only occured toad.
I thinks it so very strange.

I ran into the same problem today. I think the issue is in the fact that, right now, Toad doesn't support MySQL Server 5.5, it only supports up to 5.1. Honestly, if that's the issue then the error should be better worded...

The error message comes from the MySQL connector, it is not generated by Toad. I will investigate if this is related to MySQL 5.5.
