File encoding not "sticky" in Data Export wizard

Hi,

In the latest 6 beta of Toad, the file encoding option on the first page of the Data Export Wizard is stuck at "Unicode (UTF-8)".

I have to reselect my preferred encoding each time I export. This appears to be a regression from previous versions which all remembered the setting once it was changed.

I looked for an option to change this in the preferences but the "Editor - General" option has no effect.

This is a bit of killer for me as I export a lot of data to be used in other programs.

Thanks for listening,
Linda

We confirmed this is a bug and CR82726 is created to keep track of it.

Thanks!

Hi,

I noticed that the file encoding and non-sticky filename (see post 1 March, 2011) haven't been fixed in the latest beta.

Any timeframe for a fix?

Thanks,
Linda
