Connect using SSH?

I have no trouble with TCP using host/user/pwd/db/port
However when I try to use the SSH using the same credentials for the above fields and then using my ssh host address and ssh user name and pwd it fails, sme thing if i use the root/pwd for the server for SSH.
it tells me that Host 'myhost' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
Tech support tells me ssh is fully enabled.
Is there some trick I need to know about?
I used different ports btw, 3306 for myswl and 22 for ssh

Did you resolve this? If not I may be able to help because I had the same problem. The trick for me was realizing that in Connection Properties "Host" is your localhost login credentials and from there the SSH login was obvious.
