Very slow import with 6.3

Hello,
after upgrading to 6.3 version, imports are really very slow (up to 4 hours instead of 2 minutes with version 6.0 - 55000 rows imported)
I've tried using the template build with version 6.0 and with a new template build directly in 6.3 : same slowness... 
All datas to import are in an excel file
I've got the same problem under windows XP and in seven pro x64
Does anyone have any idea to improve speed imports ?
