I have recently discovererd toad and I am very impressed so far.
I have however one problem: Toad hangs if I open a SQL file while I have an active connection. If I open the SQL file before i open the connection to the database server, it works OK.
I spent some time googling about this problem, but have'nt found anything. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I am using Toad 6.3.0.642 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Same issue for me when connected to localhost
the problem does not exist, when the chosen connection is to a remote server
I am using Toad 6.3.0.642 on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. MySQL 5.5 64bit
Version 5.0.0.345 works fine in the same environment
