I am getting a pop up asking for a license from the actipro SyntaxEditor when I try and use the Schema Compare option in Toad for MySQL 6.3.0.642.
I get the following error after closing the pop up:
System.ComponentModel.LicenseException An instance of type 'Quest.Compare.General.UI.SyntaxEditorAdv' was being created, and a valid license could not be granted for the type 'ActiproSoftware.SyntaxEditor.SyntaxEditor'. Please, contact the manufacturer of the component for more information. That's obviously not correct. We will look into what the problem might be. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I remembered that I also had a Toad for MS SQL Server installed. I removed that version and no longer get the licensing popup. Must have been a conflict between the version of SyntaxEditor used by Toad for MySQL and Toad for MS SQL. My guess is that Toad for MS SQL was user an older version.
