Schema Compare - and website problem

What is the most recent version of Toad MySQL (betas included) where the schema compare worked? This is the feature I use most and to see that it does not work in the recent betas is rather discouraging.
Also, on the forums, when I try to set my watch list preferences I get a tomcat error.I tried reporting it using the link at the bottom of the page: Report a Problem with This SiteThe message bounces back with: 550 No such user<!--~-|**|PrettyHtmlStart|**|-~-->

Yehud,
What kind of trouble are you having with Schema Compare. Can you describe what is happening?
I will double-check the watch-list code and see if we can fix the issue.

I am using version 4.6.0.531 and have also difficulties using schema compare, the utility i'd like to use the most.
I get an error 'SELECT command denied to user 'A212@....fro table 'db' Quest.Compare.Schema.MySQL.DBModel'
(using MySQL Workbench with the same users/databases does not give any problem, except that I find the output of that compare tool rather messy)
I do not have this error when trying to execute a Data Compare, that works (and even gives me a sort of view on the existing difference between the schemata)
Thx for helping me out.

I'll chime in as well -- Running 4.6.x stable and schema compare is really buggy. I'm running it on two localhost dbs, and it regularly errors when conducting the compare (increasing timeout improves the rate of errors slightly), and I can run it on the exact same db set several times -- each time getting a different result -- most of the time getting the error already mentioned on the resulting tables.
Schema/Data compare are some of the most useful and valuable tools. I'd love to see them working better.
Anyone know if the v5 beta has them working?

I got the exact same error. And I'm using the same version. Any progress on this?
