Adding a column/field with an expression in the graphical query builder

Hi,
I have a question on how to add a column/field, for example an expression, to an existing (or new) table in the graphical query builder. Example:
- table tbl_source contains two columns/field A & B - I want to add a third column C to tbl_source which contains expression C:A+B
I'm used to working with Access 2007 and there it's as simple as inserting a new column and typing the expression into the top field, but I cannot figure out how to do this in Toad MySQL version 5.0.0.26. All I seem to be able to do is create select statements. FYI, I do know how to write the outright SQL code to do this, but I would love to be able to do this in the graphical query builder.
I have discovered a "change the statement type" button in the toolbar via various forums and some googling, but I still cannot get it to work.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

Bingo, a friend just pointed me to the "caculate fields" button which solved my problem (shaped as a sigma or summation sign)! Hope this helps someone else.
