Connection error

Hi,
I have this connection error when using Toad for MySQL v5.0.0.345. When I install this new version all my connections from v4.5 were migrated. When I try to connect to a DB that is hosted by a Web Hosting company I keep getting the following error:
"System.TimeoutException
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"
I had change the timeouts setting many times but still not working. I'm sure is not an error with the credentials because I downloaded and try MySQL Workbench 5.2 CE and it works fine. Also with Toad for MySQL version 4.5 I'm able to connect to my remote DB.
For my local databases I have no problem so far.
Any help will be appreciated.
