Team Foundation Server Connection issue

I am trying to connect to Team Foundation Server 2008.  I have the MSSCCI drivers installed.  When I enter the the server url http://<server>:8080, I get an error message "The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found".  My company uses a proxy server, which I suspect may be involved.  I have "Bypass proxy for local addresses" checked in internet explorer.  Does Toad for MySQL respect that flag and bypass the proxy?

Also, when setting up the connection, I'm required to enter a workspace name.  I see no examples of this anywhere, so I assume that this workspace name is supposed to be the same as the TFS workspace name which is <computername>;<username>, is this correct?  I mention this only in case the two issues are related.

Any help would be much appreciated!
