I will go one better: I have actually un-installed 5.0
With the datetime issue as it is, 5.0 is unusable.

This issue should be fixed in Toad for MySQL 6.0 Beta to be released later today.
Also you only run into this issue if you are having date values of '0000-00-00', which aren't actually valid date values AFAIK.
