Error after cancelling query

I am using Toad for MySQL 5.0.0.345 on Windows 7 32-bit.
Everytime I cancel a running query, I get the following error:
System.IO.EndOfStreamException Attempted to read past the end of the stream. Stack Trace: at System.Windows.Forms.Control.MarshaledInvoke(Control caller, Delegate method, Object[] args, Boolean synchronous) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.Invoke(Delegate method, Object[] args) at Quest.Toad.Util.Global.Invoke(Delegate handler, Object[] args) at Quest.Toad.Db.ToadDataAdapter.RaiseDone(Object sender, EventArgs args) at Quest.Toad.Db.ToadDataAdapter.InternalFillBackground()
Also, once I've gotten this error, I cannot run any other queries. The thread appears to think it is still busy, so other queries just queue up for it, but never run. I have to restart the connection to clear this situation.

I have exactly the same error. Restarting the connection doesn't always solve the problem; sometimes I have to restart Toad.
Toad for MySQL 5.0.0.345 on Windows 7 32-bit and/or Toad for MySQL 5.0.0.345 on Windows 7 32-bit 6.0 beta

Same here on Win7 64-bit, Toad v5.0.0.345.
Every time I cancel a query it thinks it's still running and I have to reconnect.

Same for me. Using latest 5.0.0.345 on W7 x64 and it's really annoying, you can't execute a single query ... I thought it's from MySQL settings, but obviously other guys have the same problem.

Have you guys tried 6 beta? It alleviates a lot of bugs, like the date/time thing.

In regards to the timestamp issue this is fixed in the version 6.0 beta (Which is actually very stable by now just not completely finished).

The crash on cancel should be fixed in the next beta drop.
