Schema Compare fail with "Unknown connection string parameter x;Pooling."

I am getting an error when I am try to do a schema or data compare on a server over a VPN connection. The error is:

"Unknown connection string parameter x;Pooling."

Both servers are running the same version of MySQL 5.5.9. I am using Toad for MySQL 5 and have tried using the latest beta.

I have tried changing the option "Extended connection pool hints", and it didn't affect it.

Am I have this error because I am using an up-to-date version of MySQL?
