Refresh database does not pick up new tables

I use the Object Explorer to examine the tables in a database.  A new table is added via a different program.  The only way I can see that new table in the Object Explorer is if I disconnect/reconnect to the database.  Right-clicking on the database in the Object Exporer and selecting Refresh Item seems to do nothing.

Any suggestions?

This should obviously work.

One thing you can try is the "Refresh All" command in the view menu and see if that helps. I will also investigate this for the upcoming 6.0 release and make sure it works.
