Assume I want to install a newer version of Toad for MySQL.Can I install these version on top of existing ones (and keep the settings this way) ?
Or do I have to uninstall the previous version at first?
How can I export (and later restore) the current settings into a backup config file?

The first time you launch 6.0 (Which can be installed side by side of 5.0) it will ask you if you want to migrate your old settings.
