Grid Options: Best Fit to Columns: All Rows

At Tools > Options > Environment > Grid, there is an option to automatically apply best fit to columns, and a sub-option for the maximum rows to process, which defaults to 50.
Toad Help says that I can set this to -1 to use all rows, which I would like as the "best fit" is usually way off, but Toad will not let me insert a negative sign (-) in this field.
And oddly, if I use the field arrows, the values begin as 1, 0, 1, 2, 3... I am guessing that the lowest value is supposed to be -1.
