Busy Fetching

Since I installed version 6.0 I get "Bust Fetching" for several minutes when try to list tables in the Object Explorer.
I becomes extremely cumbersome to switch between connections and databases because of this.
I did not have this problem in the 6.0 beta version or any prior versions.
I am thinking that there must be configuration option causing this but I can't find one.
I would like to go back to using the beta version but can't since it is expired and version 5.0 has a bug with dates so it can be annoying to use.

There is no option to change behavior (At least not in an easy way).
The first beta for the next release will have much improved performance in this area though.
