Hi
I get 'Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client' when i try to use percona pam plugin. Is it possible to point Toad to another client to use instead of the default?
Cheers

Unfortunately not. I am not sure what it means that you are using Percona on the server. It seems odd that the protocol should change due to what authentication server you are using (Although obviously it does).
That said Toad uses the official .Net library to access MySQL from Oracle and we have a fairly recent version of it right now. I would recommend that you create a bug report with MySQL (Oracle) directly at http://bugs.mysql.com/ for this issue. The version of the MySQL .Net Connector we are currently using is 6.3.7.
