Hi there,

I hope you can help, as I'm almost pulling my hair out!!

I've set up a MySQL database through my host tsohost and tried to connect to it via TOAD but am constantly getting the error message "Unable to connect to any of the specified MySQL hosts."

I've checked all my details and entered them correctly. I've also checked that my Port 3306 is open. I'm at a loss as to what is wrong...

These are the details I have from my host:

Hostname: 10.168.1.** (also tried the default localhost)
Connection Method: TCP
Database Version: MySQL 5
Database Name: amd_****
Database Username: amd_****
PAssword: ****

Can you please help?

Have you tried with other Mysql clients from that same machine?

Also check the firewall in case you use one.
