Can't connect to MySQL through named pipe

I'm receiving the following message when trying to connect:
System.ArgumentException
Keyword not supported.
Parameter name: named pipe

To reproduce:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit SP1
Database: MySQL 5.5.27
Toad for MySQL 6.3.0.642
my.ini main aspects
[client]
pipe
socket=mysql.appx
[mysql]
default-character-set=utf8
[mysqld]
skip-networking
enable-named-pipe
socket=mysql.appx
With the same server configuration in MySQL Workbench 5.2, no problems.
Someone already had this issue?
