MySQL Remote on Windows 7

I've used TOAD with Oracle in the past and loved it. A friend has just installed MySQL on his W7 machine and we wish to collaborate on code and such. He has MySQL Server loaded. How do we need to set this up if I'm using TOAD on the client side? Do I just need TOAD and, if so, is this correct: Type: TCP ? Host: (His IP) User: (my database user name? ) PW: (my MYSQL PW on his machine)
???
Is there anything else we need to do?
Jerry

Just be shure that networking is allowed in file my.cnf
Normally it's not allowed by default : #SKIP="--skip-networking" Comment out it: SKIP="--skip-networking"
Kind regards
