"Select Next Window" not sequential within tab groups

In 6.3.0.642, if I have two vertical tab groups each with multiple tabs, selecting the next/prev window will move sequentially between tabs in one tab group before moving on to the next group.
The 6.6.0.815 beta does not appear to obey the ordering within each tab group. Rather, selecting next/prev window moves sequentially through the tabs in the order in which they were created, irrespective of the visual tab order in each group.
